Afghan Translation Service has contracted two desktop publishing (DTP) supplier firms based in Iran and Egypt to provide support for the non-critical DTP projects. 

Afghan Translation Service provides professional DTP services in all languages and notably has an in-house team of professionals that cover DTP support for Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Farsi (Persian), Urdu, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Sindhi, and other Arabic scripts. The existing in-house team will continue to support critical and time sensitive projects and the supporting contracting organizations will cover DTP projects that are manageable from a deadline standpoint.

Working mechanisms have been established and these suppliers will have to follow guidelines and regulations defined by the DTP department of Afghan Translation Service. All work performed by these suppliers will still have to go through the internal quality assurance processes of Afghan Translation Service and such projects will be managed entirely by a project manager who is a member of the ATS local team.

By partnering with these organizations, Afghan Translation Service will be able to serve a larger number of clients and ensure that the DTP products available are of the highest quality.
